Guitar Group Lesson
The guitar thrives as arguably the most popular instrument across the world due to its presence in numerous genres, including jazz, folk, mariachi, flamenco, classical, rock, and pop music. Students will learn songs from a variety of styles and will be exposed to the basic essentials of guitar technique, ear training, instrumental practice habits, musical notation, and ensemble playing. The class will conclude with a final concert and creative presentation of extended guitar techniques such as harmonics, percussion, and other creative ways of making sound on the guitar!
This twelve-week course will introduce the young student to the guitar and provide the fundamentals required to further pursue any style of music. Students will need a nylon string classical guitar and a footstool. |
